Superman post-crisis (current supes): The Superman of today, pick up "Superman" or any action comics to see what he is like. He has been gradually getting stronger over the years and has been part of some excellent story lines.
Pre-Crisis Superman: During the late eighties DC had a huge event called crisis on infinite earths which basically has lead to the Superman of today. Pre crisis Supes was insanely powerful, he once blowed a solar system away with a sneeze and if a situation called for a certain power he would get it.
Superman Prime: This is current post crisis Superman, he made his first appearance during the 853rd century in DC 1 million. He has spent hundreds of thousands of years sleeping in the sun and traveling the universe. He has never really shown how powerful he is but he beat Solaris pretty easily with a gl ring when the rest of the DC 1million heroes couldn't do shit to stop him.
If you really want to know about them I suggest you use google, IT IS YOUR FRIEND!!
