Superman can defeat them all... Thor, Hulk, Gladiator, Hyperion, etc.

All of Marvel Heroes Maximum Strength levels are at 100Tons or more... even those incredibaly beyond that would only be at maybe twice that. Superman is at 3000 Tons when he was still a Teen! (See below)

Superman is the "first" hero, so out of respect, no one would ever surpass him in a battle. He would be able to lift 6000 tons by now! And this is the "depowered" version!

The peaked powered superman can push the Earth which weighs 57 trillion tons.

Originally aired: Saturday September 23, 2006 on The CW
Writer: Amy Wolfram
Director: Ben Jones
Show Stars: Michael Cornaccia (Bouncing Boy), Yuri Lowenthal (Superman), Adam Wylie (Brainiac 5), Kari Wahlgren (Saturn Girl/Triplicate Girl), Heather Hogan (Phantom Girl), Andy Milder (Lightning Lad)
Guest Stars: David Lodge (Tharok/Carnival Barker) , Jennifer Hale (Emerald Empress/Ma Kent)
Production Code: 101

In the 31st century, the Legion of Super Heroes fight a desperate battle but are knocked out one at a time. They wonder where Superman is.

In the 21st century, earlier today, Clark is testing his heat vision on the day he’s preparing to go to Metropolis to become a copy boy. Reassuring his mother, he leaves to go to the Smallville Fair, while on the highway a time bubble appears containing Bouncing Boy, Saturn Girl, and Brainiac 5.

As they proceed toward the fair, Clark resists his classmates’ taunts to win a prize, but then hears a Ferris wheel strut goes. Clark moves to support it and the Legionnaires spot him and go to help. Bouncing Boy “inflates” to provide support and Saturn Girl telepathically causes the crowd to forget what they’ve seen. As the wheel collapses, Clark helps the riders to safety. Later the Legionnaires admit they know all about him and they need him to come to the future with them. Clark flies off and they agree to give him some time, then go to the Kent house to meet him. They explain that they want him to join their Legion of Super Heroes, but Clark is skeptical and doesn’t believe their claim that he can fly. Brainiac 5 explains they’ll bring him back to the exact second he left so he won’t miss anything. He agrees and they leave in the time bubble for the future.

In the 31st century, the other Legionnaires hang up a banner welcoming Superman although Lightning Lad is unimpressed. Phantom Girl warns they need help against their opponent, the Fatal Five. The time bubble arrives but Clark doesn’t make much of an impression. Lighting Lad puts Clark through a strength test which he fails at its highest level, and Clark flies off before he hears he lifted 3,000 tons. Saturn Girl goes after Clark who is at the Superman museum where he sees historical records of his future activities as well as his costume-to-be. Saturn Girl offers to take him back, but Clark asks about the Fatal Five – the Legion put them in jail but they escaped and are back for revenge. Lightning Lad calls for Saturn Girl to join the team and Clark decides to go with them.

The assembled Legionnaires send out a call for their other members but nobody else is available. Lightning Lad warns that Clark isn’t ready to use his superpowers in battle.

The super-strong giant Validus charges down the street while the other members of the Five take out the Science Police. The Legion are ready for them but Clark super speeds off and the two sides join battle. Once by one the Legionnaires are mind controlled by the Empress’ Emerald Eye.

At the Superman Museum, Clark dresses his (overly large) costume and struggles to master his flying ability. Lightning Lad tries to resist the Eye’s mesmeric influence but gives in, and only Saturn Girl is left uncontrolled. Superman comes soaring in. He is quickly overwhelmed but refuses to give in to the Eye. Saturn Girl uses her mental powers to influence the other Legionnaires to see Clark and be inspired. Clark, meanwhile, uses his heat vision to blast the eye and send the Fatal Five flying. The Legion rally and Saturn Girl takes telepathic control of Validus to defeat his teammates. Clark goes directly against the Empress and Lightning Lad directs him to use his super-breath to freeze her. But the Empress is able to teleport herself and her teammates away.

Late in headquarters, Lightning Lad is now a big supporter of Clark and Brainiac 5 offers to take Clark home. But now Clark wants to stay, see the future, and try out his powers. The Legion gives him his belt and flight ring and make him a member, and Clark declares himself as… Superman.

Thor has magical based abilities, and if i'm not mistaken, Superman is vulnerable to magic

Thor with his hands fished a giant snake that was wrapped around the planet. Supes can't beat everyone, not even in DC. There are plenty of people in Marvel who would shitstomp Supes to nothing.

Yup, but Thor, Hulk, Gladiator, Hyperion are not among their numbers.

Also, in the Infinite Crisis comic series, Superman (Kal-el) fought with an interdivisional version of himself (Kal-L). The both of them realized that they had to let loose with everything they had in order to prevail against the other, which they did. The blows that they inflicted on each other (not actually hitting the planet surface directly) met with such force that the shockwaves they produced not only tore the planet they were fighting on/near to shreds (in fact, I think they may have atomized it by the end, I can't quite remember), but actually created tears through time and space, causing events from both Supermen’s past and the future to manifest before other hero/villain groups throughout the galaxy. I tried to find some scans of this fight - I've seen them before - but I don’t have time at the moment to keep looking.

sure thor could grab a snake rapped around a planet but superman atomized a planet just by fighting over its surface he even created tears through time and space

That 'snake' - The Midgard Serpent - has a mass equal to that of the Earth itself. Thor wasn't even wearing his belt of strength when it happened, and that DOUBLES his might.
Don't bother bringing up feats of Pre-Crisis Superman; him & his silly powers (like super-knitting & super-mathematics) are gone.
And characters like Hyperion & Gladiator ARE him. The same being - just born in different realities; deliberate analogues.

1. superman already gave thor a shitstomp
2. midgard serpeant doesnt have the same mass as the earth. it coiled around it.

if my shoelace can coil around a baseball. would it have the same mass? no. it would be impossible. same with the the over grown garden snake which its head when thor fought it was only the size of a house. go back and re read the story.

Crossovers aren't canon, wanted to point that out.

JLA/Avengers The story continued in DC and was mentioned in the avengers handbook for marvel. Both companies recognized it as canon.

Here is my opinion:
Thor
Yes, Thor is magic. However, his speed is nowhere near enough to touch Supes. SM wins.

Hulk
HEAT VISION! Hulk is now headless

Gladiator
Gladiator has proved himself time and time again to be at the level of pre crisis Supes. Witch is way above current Superma. glads wins, if he is confident.

Hyperion
Don't know.

Heres the facts

Thor: Superior speed and strenght. He can alter reality. SB i mean SM losses
Hulk: heat vision, Hulk regenerates, and gets angrier till he is stronger than Supes...it doesnt take long for Hulk to do so so. HULK SMASH. Supes is now headless. SM losses

Gladiator: Even depressed Glads takes this. Supes dies. Supes loses

Hyperion: Supes wins against his shitty clone

Sentry: Supes gives up cos he's had enough ass whoppins form Goku, Thor and Glads, he knows he will lose to Sentry so he replaces Sentrys wife with Lois and saves himself the trouble of humiliating himself by losing to Sentry thus he ends his life. Superman loses

6000 tons! Wow!

That's almost as impressive as the weaker Gray Hulk smashing planet sized asteroids and Gladiator destroying planets!
