apparantly the legal battle over superman goes to court on may 13
what does everyone know about this?

apparantly the the siegels are trying to get 50% on all profits with anything involving superman. which would effectivly kill the character. this means 50% of all comics sales, movie takes, etc. no one will make superman movies if they only get half of what they make. it just wouldn't be financially viable. same with the jla movie. if the sigels win, supes most likely wouldn't be in the movie. also, all superman tv shows and comics would be affected in the same manner. damn it, this sucks!

Thay appear to be going after Superboy only...
Stupid courts, "Superboy" being "Young Superman" is a derivitive of "Superman".. he's not an independant character.

well, if they're only going after superboy, i can live with that. i just hope they don't end up going after superman, that would suck.
