I just don't understand. Why is it every time I see Superman on TV or in movies he is getting his ass whooped. I thought Superman was supposed to one of the best hand to hand combatants (up there with Goku) around. Maybe Supes should think about taking some Karate lessons. Some examples:
beaten by some women
lois put up a better fight (supes is laying on the floor to the bottom left)
Slapped , kicked, stomped, dragged and humilated on a rock save the fact that the LOVE TRIANGLE (btw is popular in movies these days) is completley atrocious.
Cmon man, I know you didnt expect this EMO, Metro sexual society to allow a testosterone movie these days. Thats why the re-inventing old 80's movies is stupid.
They have been softened up to beter accomodate the sensitive types.
Cartoon Supes is not even a shadow of the real deal. Not to mention the furies are no pushovers what so ever.
Clark got beat up in Superman 2 because at the time he was completely depowered, the guy got a cheapshot on him and movie Supes/Clark never showed any fighting skills whatsoever. This is the DumbAss Clark Kent for those who don't remember.
And in Superman Returns the guy was actually getting poisoned to the point of almost dying because of the exposure to kryptonite.
Massive FAIL.
Go back to the SF forums and pray Vader doesn't kill you for making him and the SW community look dumb.

your right, the furies are no pushovers but apparently supes is, supergirl beat them all by herself in the same episode. i take it you are saying comic book superman is badass? okay, i'll post some scans. more times than not, he getting his ass kicked in his own book.
i have yet to see a smart clark kent/ superman. it seems everyone gets a cheap shot on him, with or without powers. clark is the one who tried to square off with him, so unless supes has the advantage he can't win a man to man fight and he didn't even confront the man again until after he got is powers back.

how boring would it be if superman's fights were all done in the first couple of pages or first few minutes of a cartoon, a tv episode or a movie? very boring...

lol are you a mentaly disabled child? Saying any one could kick Supermans ass with out his powers is like saying I can stop a train from moving thats not moving. Superman has been trained by WonderWoman, Batman and Mongul and is 6ft some thing and would be in the heavyweight category in boxing. There is no way a mentaly disabled 14yr old like your self would last even five seconds.
