Superman Prime and how powerful he is compared to Superman
So, I have been wondering if Superboy Prime is the most powerful of the current kryptonians or is it the same case of Supergirl wherein he just doesn't hold back.
Superman has never been portrayed as anything but nowhere near a match for Prime when they both appear in a comic, to the extent that he can overpower dozens of different heroes at once, including Superman, when but a single ray of sunlight hits his hand.
By Superman's own words, he has no chance in a direct confrontation with SBP.

He always holds back vs SBP.
He is always trying to talk with him and SBP is always throwing a tantrum.
He put a good fight vs Time Trapper until He found out He was SBP.
I believe SBP is more powerful but only slightly as SBP is Faster and does not has the magick weakness and his Kryptonite is not sold in every corner of the world.
but not a lot more powerful, every time SM faces him, he tries to talk or does not uses any of his other powers. SBP does.
For Superman to be equal in might to SBP, or even near it, his physical strength would have to be much greater than that of Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Power Girl, and all of the other heroes in that dogpile combined.
Are you really suggesting he holds back that much against SBP? Really?

And then You will understand why having sometimes the advantage He never uses his other powers and tries to reason with him instead of taking advantage of his other powers and not pressing against the attack of a psyco like SBP, why not punching him in the face? why not using hv? why trying to talk instead?
First of all Biensalsa, your scans are utterly puny.
Second of all, you dodged the gist of my point.
For Superman to have strength even near that of Prime, he would have to be stronger than his holding back levels (Don't get me wrong, I am well-aware that Superman doesn't use his full might most of the time, and probably not against Prime) and the strength of these characters:
combined. Are you really prepared to say that? Superboy Prime easily overpowered all of those characters when a single ray of sunlight beamed onto his fingertips.
Superman outright admits he can't stop him without help. Not won't, can't.
I really don't see why this is so hard to accept. Prime is stronger than Superman, and not by a small amount. He has made Guardians look like chumps, overpowered Superman every time they fought when Prime was operating at peak capacity (And even when weakened substantially, deprived of both sunlight as well as his armour, his heat vision went through Superman's shoulder like butter), he has dominated teams of heroes, some including powerful top tiers. He can move planets so casually and quickly that the structure of the universe is altered.
Prime is portrayed as more powerful. It is that simple.
Why would Superman hold back against Prime when he knows Prime can take it? Why would Superman "allow" Prime to kill all of the people he killed if Superman had the power to stop Prime? Why would Superman aid Earth 22 Superman in dipping Prime in a red Sun if Superman had the power to stop Prime? The answer is easy, he didn't have the power to stop Prime rampage. Prime was too power and too strong.
