powers: she can alter probabilities, making unlikely things happen. this is often manifested as hex bolts. she also has magical abilities which might enhance her mutation.

the scarlet witch is one of the coolest mutants in x-men evolution but she isnt my favorite. she is probably one of the most powerful mutants on the show. she has proven herself against the x-men n her fathe magneto was hiding from her cause she is so powerful. n he also abandoned her when she was little cause her power couldnt be controled now thas power!!

She's an Avenger nowadays, but originally a member of the Brotherhood, so she started as an X-Men Character, but Dissassembled and House of M revolves around her powers, basically.
I think she's awesome, the aforementioned storyarcs and events have really shown us what a powerhouse she is. I mean, its not any simple task that one can do like Wanda: reweaving the fabrics of time. Her character was a bit lame but with Bendis she just got a whole lot cooler without saying 5 words.
