why is everyone getting a secondary mutation these days?

angel - the healing factor
iceman - the ability to turn himself in ice even on the inside(organs, bones, blood)
emma frost - turn her skin in diamond

are there more?

Humm... well there's beast "secondary" mutation in new x-men, his look changed from "ape"-ish to "lion"-ish. And then there's Gambit, when he can telepathicly charge objects and has some kind of force field around himself. and... I donno any others lol

Oh! there's Paige's bro Joshua, his wings and the healing factor are part of his second mutation. The first one being his "angelic voice". So similar to Angel but oh well...

then there is lifeguard. she went from being able to turn into whatever is necessary to save someones life to just a shiar bird like predator thingie. supposedly, this is how she will remain permanetly
