seriously is this info true? if so i am not gonna go see the movie because in there it said that it was going to be wolverine-driven. i don't care if he is a fan favorite, i am not paying to see wolverine and his sidekicks, i am seeing x-men, not wolverines x-men. seriously it is really pathetic, why even make x-men movies if all we are going to see is wolverine and not the x-men.

Also I want to see the Phoenix they mentioned. To Bad cyclops only in their for 2 seconds since he is going to superman movie and magneto storm and pro x not even confirmed to be the same people witch is crap. Gambit in their but they said dont expect him to play a major role. I think hes like collosus in the second movie.

yeah, if this movie is wrapped around the phoenix then it will severley suck, so much that i feel bad for the x-men. cyke is making a very, very small apearence in the film, yet he played a very, very big part in the phoenix saga, as did xavier and storm. rogue wasn't even w/ the x-men during the phoenix saga so how can she be there also. this is pathetic

I want a Mystique spin-off! (she'd be like mutant James Bond like in her solo series) and a Storm spin-off that doesn't star Halle Berry.

What I found funny I also read that The Superman people tried to get jean(The person that plays her) to be a character in Superman but I dont think she accepted it. Whats with Superman people taking all the xmen like Cyclops and now Jean, whos next Wolverine.

They took Singer and he took pretty much everyone that worked with him (bad for X-Men good for Superman Returns, just hope one movie isn't good at the expense of the other). Singer tends to cast people in multiple movies. He wanted Famke and the guy who played Bobby, but I think Famke didn't want the part and the guy who played Bobby is contractually obliged to X-Men 3.
There was a rumour that Jackman was gonna cameo in Superman Returns.

lol this crazy. They know they are making Xmen 3 and yet they want them. I rather be in the Xmen movie as a main character than Superman to be a random loser.

As for Mystique solo, definetly, I was saying the exact same thing in the Spin Offs thread. Working as a super spy on the missions Xavier can't send the X-Men on...how awesome. And Rebecca really delivers Mystique.

"According to my sources, 20th Century Fox nixed the idea of up-and-coming Ashmore starring in Warner Bros' new Superman feature. Fox is telling actors who have options for the third, untitled X-Men film that it will begin shooting June 20th. That conflicts with "Superman Returns'" spring shooting schedule, which is anticipated to go through July 30. Ashmore is one of the few actors in the X-Men franchise that is contractually obligated to two sequels (one already being in the books). The other actors locked in include Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler), Aaron Stanford (Pyro), Anna Paquin (Rogue) and Rebecca Romijn (Mystique). Cumming confirmed the June 20th start date while speaking to the press for "Son of the Mask" over the weekend. My sources also say that Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), who did not have a third sequel option, has agreed to a new contract for the movie and has approval on the new director for the series. Unless a miracle occurs, James Marsden has already been removed from consideration as Cyclops after he took a smaller part as Perry White's son in "Superman Returns." We'll see if Marsden's loyalty to Singer was a smart career move."

So true.Man this pisses me off.Why can't me and Xmarks the spot be the writers for this film!If Marsden wants to scout *****,that's pretty sad.Fox is going to end up raping these characters and i'm going to be when the public sees Cyclops as a prissy.I think the actors and the studio need to realize these characters are important to people and that Wolverine isn't the leader.

Marvel doesn't really care about what people think. They keep making great sales doing what they're doing. Why listen to your patrons who say that they don't want Wolverine-centric movies, when people watch them anyway? I wish he'd up and die already.

How could we ever make the mistake of thinking that Jean Grey is an important character? Guess being one of the orignal five and Xavier's first student doesn't hold water. Neither does dying to save the X-Men's lives again and again...

I wish these people would get a clue.

Its nice to know that fox doesnt care about money. Wolverine driven part 3. You ever seen the Cover of an Xmen Dvd lol It got Wolverine dead center big all the time cartoon or movie. Once I Saw something with Wolverine on the cover and the man wasnt even in it, he was just on the cover doing something kool. Oh yeah Wolverine wasn't realy the original Xmen anyway.

I do love Wolverine,but I want more Cyclops!
