In hte Marvel official handbook 2004, Wolverines Strength stat is at level 4. Which means he can lift from 800 lbs to 25 tons. This doesn;t mean he can lift 25 tons, but it means he can lift at least 800 lbs.

True, but this is the official 2004 guide thingie.... any ways, if they had him lifting 2 tons, then they'd be just padding his stats to appease die hard Wolvie fans. IMO, they need to nerf his strength a bit.
Also, all the guides are weird. At one point, Xavier claimed Wolvie to be a military genius. he said that Wolvie was able to do a gold medal gymnastics routine flawlessly, while beating 4 chess players all at the same time. So I guess different X-Men writers like to either nerf Wolverine, or stack him like crazy,

lol then you know when reading every other X-Man's stats, their either being embellished.... alot, or nerfed. Each writer(s) like to add their own touch to their favorite and despised X-Men.
yes but still does nto change the fact wolverine is super human strength. it is listed in many hand books and guides along with comcis and feat to abck it up
Actually i for one Like wolvie..but i don't belive he can lift 2 tons.....it doesn't fit with his mutatation....which gives him enhanced healing and senses....simply doesn't make sense that he would bave the ability to lift in excess of two tons
1. Dude wolverine does not have superhuman strength he is peak human. Ok he is in the superhuman range but Logan aint that strong at all he couldn't lift a ton on the best day of his life..................
2. Can I ask you a question?? have you ever created a thread where you haven't mentioned wolverine???
also, if you're looking for examples of wolverine having superhuman strength, it's better to get them from an era where strength levels are actually somewhat defined. you know, not from around when the hulk jumped into space, or from when he started lifting mountain ranges. maybe not from when sasquatch was throwing around jumbo jets like they were used pieces of gum.
wolverine doesn't have superhuman strength. apocalypse didn't even work on him when he made him a horseman, he just gave him some fancy tech and a new batch of adamantium. there's nothing that will stand the test of time that can prove wolverine has superhuman strength. it's just how it is.
Thank you for dispelling a comon myth among many fanboys........
any mods watching please please please close this thread which could have easily gone in the q&a thread and not been a waste of extra thread space..........
(marvel unverse offial hand book) (thunder bolts guess staring new swordmen) (official hand book of the marvel unverse wolverine 2004) marvel knights official hand book) (marvel vs DC) all say other wise along with the wolverine as patch and many others. so no actauly he does have superhuman strength not peak. u guys show no prove. u just say he does not. wolverine fist fights warpath who is a class 75 tons. wolverine beat calibian in a few punches. wolverine beats the crap out of rough-house with his fists all the time. so no u guys are incorrect wolverien ahs superhuman strength not peak human
when wolverine was introduced, way back in hulk, he was meant to be a typical superhuman with incredible resistance to injury, spidey-like strength, and fancy gloves that had claws. when he became a mutant, he kept the resistance to injury in the form of a healing factor, kept the claws in form of a mutation/alterations by weapon x, AND LOST HIS SUPER-STRENGTH. ask len wein, who created wolverine.
wolverine can go toe to toe with a lot of heavy hitters, but then, so can captain america. is captain america superhuman now? hitting people with metal fists does not equate to superhuman strength. it's a myth you're gonna need to wrap your head around.
Yes thats right. peak human fists did that, NOT superhuman fists. We have kinda figured wolverine is your favourite character, thats ok. The problem is mate, no offence or anything, but I don't think you have convinced anyone that Logan is in the super-human range strength. Logan is the product of a writer hyping up a character because of their popularity.
Personally I think Logan is an ok character if written fairly. unfortunately nowadays, this happens less and less. However when Logan did have a good storyline (and theres plenty of them eg Origin, the Logan files etc) it wasn't good because Logan was considered really strong or anything. it was because he was true to his powers and skills. Not how bias writers or fanboys portay him as.................
