I thought Juggernaut how some cool parts in Uncanny this year, but I feel they could have done better towards the end of the year with him.I'm sure they'll do some crap writing with him around the time X3 comes to theatres.

Astonishing X-men was the best series in my opinion.

Iceman was written horribly like an a-hole.

I like Shadowcat in Astonishing X-Men.

Emma was written well.

Oops I meant "Gifted" for some reason I thought it was called "Cure" which book and arc was "Cure"?

And if it's the last new character that I've liked I'll go with Dust.

Re: 2005 X awards

best X book - Astonishing and Cable and Deadpool

Best X artist - Salvador Lorocca does it for me.

Best character - Deadpool

worst character - Kitty has always been a rather contrived character to me. Not much to her. If she wasn't such an old character she would have been dumped with the rest of the New Mutants.

Best new character - Were there any good new characters?

Best X writer - Greg Pak (Phoenix Endsong)

Best solo X book - Gambit was good, people just didn't read it.

Best story arch - The Burnt Offering.

Which character was written the best in 05 - Niceaza did a good job with Deadpool this year. Everyone else was so-so to me.

who was written the worst - Rachel has been acting like a baby all year. Iceman a close second, he's better than what they wrote.

Best X villian - Magneto

most shocking moment - Wolverine kills Northstar.

How can you say Kitty is contrived......? And then give Gambit - possibly one of the most contrived characters ever - best solo.... erm

Everyone's entitled to opinions I s'pose... but imo somethin' ain't right there...

I felt Kitty is such an awesome character, but she just wasn't major in anything in astonishing... I mean Lockheed(sp?) had a more significant role... in the fact that he saved the xmen
