gambit or wolverine.Who do you think had a rougher life and a rougher personality

i think probley wolverine had a rougher life because he doesnt remember half of it. Not to mention he's had to fight people he hasnt known and thinks never saw ever /wanting revenge and having wolverine on there hit list (sabertooth omega red ) but gambit might have a little colder and rougher personality.Only because hes always trying to show off or play hero but wolvie has come down and melowed down alot more.But gambit also likes to be bad boy but i think wolverine had a harder past.
