once i get back from this piss test, i'll start making scans from my issues of the maverick series/one-shot and the other issue or two i have with him. great character who was completely RUINED by tieri
he's amazing! but i don't know if there is any mav-comics here in sweden, i've only seen him i "wolverine - the hunted", and that's about it i think... would be great to see more of this fantastic character in the swedish comics...
i don't think he was "killed" so much as "killed, but then retconned into not being dead and having been brought to weapon x to become agent zero."
funny thing, they never addressed maverick's lost eye after issue twelve of his series. that pissed me off, actually. and my scanner's being a pain in the ass, so expect scans sometime later.
all the weapon x-ers got that grafted into them, unless they already had it (like creed and logan, and perhaps silverfox, did.) but it really only serves to retard the aging process, not increase their trauma thresholds or recuperative abilities. maverick pulled through, more than once, on sheer will power, not on any fancy abilities.
no I almsot postive he heals far faster thena normal human when he does not have the virus in him. it not realy good but it will allow him to survive stabs and such.
he DOES NOT have enhanced healing. neither did wraith. just because you hang out with weapon x doesn't make you a fast-healing machine. his "age suppression" factor is only strong enough to slow his aging, not heal him, not sustain him after incredible traumas. he even says more than once that if he passes out, he's toast; meaning the only way he could stop himself from dying was from willing himself to continue. that's really all there is to it...
Sue me for topping this......but dammit I just want people to realize that he is NOT street level.....can we at least agree on that? Bishop isn't either for that matter
