I read the first one.It was quiet good and I read the whole thing even after seeing the movie.Their's a few things they add in and things that they add more detail to.

One cool thing about them is they add in the intro scenes that never made it into the movie,so you get more of a history about Cylclops and Storm.

Hope you enjoy!

I read both books. They are great. Even after seeing both movies you notice new things in the books and they expand on some things that they couldn't do in the movies. It would of been nice if some of the things that happen in the second book had made it into the movie but you can't have everything. I also read the one based on Fantastic Four movie and Spider-man 1 but the X=men ones were the best.

Yep, and there's a part in the X2 novelization when, at the moment that Professor X was targeting the mutants, a certain Cajun ( wink ) from somewhere was playing cards and it suddenly exploded. Hank McCoy also transformed into his blue form because of it. In short, the mutants all went nuts and their powers went haywire during the Dark Cerebro scene in the book.

It wasn't included in the movie however, because Bryan Singer said they didn't have enough money to do it.

Yes.

And I forgot to mention, in the X2 novelization, Jean Grey never "died". She was just blinded because of her fight with Cyclops. That's why when the X2 movie came out, everyone, as in everyone was shocked towards her death and the hint of the Phoenix at the end, lol. Nobody saw it coming. Even the part in the trailer where she parted the water was very subtle, lol. big grin

The book does portray her powers evolving though.

Exactly, lol. I know some diehard fans who were pissed (but in a gentle, "oh shucks" way) because they read the books before they saw the movie so some of the scenes were already spoiled for them, lol.
