Josh Holloway (Sawyer on Lost) as Gambit - What do you think?

Looks like Josh Holloway (Sawyer on Lost) is up to play Gambit in X-Men 4.

I'm a big Lost fan and I like the idea.

What does everyone else think?

I think Jared Leto should play Havok for X4 but I think having Josh Holloway play Gambit would be a good choice.

I hope they have Forge in the next movie as well as maybe Banshee or Bishop.

Gambit is one of my favorite X-men. I don't really know this guy since I don't watch Lost but he better lose the beard. Gambit is a pretty boy, clean shaven, Southern boy. The Cajun Sensation doesn't have facial hair.

True but this the movie Version of Gambit and not the comic version.

Not all things need to be like they are in the comics.

For an example the X-Men are all dressed in Black but they are not that way in the comics.

His powers aren't as interesting as the others? I for one think blowing stuff up is cool (not literally of course... you know). I mean come on, think of how awesome that would look on-screen! And is anyone else sick of them saying that he's like Wolverine? I am.
But anyway, on to you question LMAO. I don't really like the idea of Josh Holloway as Gambit. I think that they could find WAY better if they looked outside of Hollywood... They won't of course. But they should.

im a huge LOST fan and i think Holloway is a perfect choice for Gambit. if uv evr seen LOST, uk that hes the big bad @$$ of the islands, and i think he culd pull off Gambit. hes a good actor as well, very bleaveable, he'll pull it off.
