I'm guessing you're referring to the video game (have it for the Gamecube). Been ages since I played that.

Which Sentinels are you referring to though? The male or female ones? There's also Bastion...

Oh. That Sentinel...

Yeah. It can be pretty hard, especially with Forge (depending on the difficulty level you have set). If you just do the taunt thing though (in between knocking down the Sentinel and when he gets back up), the bar thing that allows you to use finishing moves and what not will fill up much faster (as opposed to just hitting the opponent over and over), allowing you to do that ultimate finishing move with Forge where he says "Mind and spirit is one".
And if you rinse and repeat, the Prime Sentinel should be taken down without much effort (probably only seemed that way to me because I played the game a lot).

Luckily though, the female Sentinels on the other hand aren't that hard (unless you like totally suck with Cyclops).

Oh. Yeah.

I guess when playing as Wolverine, even if a Prime Sentinel temporarily prevents you from using finishing moves by using its mutant-dampening powers, it won't matter much since there's nothing mutant about Wolverine's adamantium claws stick out tongue, and the fact it's easy to be good with him without relying on those special moves.

But even so, the fight with him and Bastion was still very hard (for me at least)...

For Magneto. I wasted the dude with Pheonix and Wolverine. He's only hard to beat with Magneto.

Ah. I remeber my first fight with sentinel a. I got my butt handed to me. Now he was hard. I seriously had more trouble with him that with bastion. I loved playing as Nightcrawler. You learn to used that dudes abilities well and you all over the place all the time. He's amazing.

One thing I didn't like about this game was the fact that it didn't have Iceman but it had pyro. I love the Iceman vs Pyro fights but I couldn't have it in that game. Unfortunately.

I should play that game again some time. I haven't played in ages.

Exactly. You know what I noticed though? When your actually fighting Magneto, he's a lot better at it...

Heh. Yeah...

If you do the thing that makes him fly though, and then keep doing that taunt thing (that increases his special move meter or whatever each time you do it), you'll get to perform Magneto's ultimate special against the opponent without worry of taking much damage (normally a good opponent would just jump-kick you to stop you from flying with Eric, but the game's AI isn't that smart apparently).

On a side note, I like those glitches they have with some of the levels, especially the one with Apocalypse in the background. I was able to get close enough to Apocalypse (when he was up and doing that laughing thing) to attack him, though it didn't do anything of course stick out tongue (forgot how to do it, but that glitch where you go "beyond the walls" can pretty much only be done with characters that fly).
