do they have adamantium on them? someone i was talking to said that you can chop off woverine's head by slicing through the tendons and ligaments and such...i was under the impression that those are coated somehow too. could someone provide me with a scan showing that i am right? i'm pretty sure i am...
His bones can not be seperated with the amount of force we've seen thus far, I don't know if his ligaments and tendons have shown to be as strong as his bones, but they are indeed stronger than normal humans.
theyve never been shown to get separated in 616, but his arm got blown off in AoA and part of his spine knocked out in a What If?
by the Hulk.

i stated they werent. but it makes logical sense that that would work.
plus, its not like your going to find an example in 616, and those stories are written by people who write the actual statement. in other words what you just said is a cliche overstatement.

Actually 616 Wolverine had his neck snapped by NC and Sabes... but that doesn't mean you can decapitate him. His skeleton works like an action figure... hell it was even depicted like that in Days of Future Past (not canon, I know, just saying)...
I don't know, surviving being torn into pieces and being able to put yourself back together doesn't sound so "loser" to me. Just look at the guys who torn him up, they're not light-weights.
thanks for all the responses everyone. i just remember battlehammer claiming that wolvies joints and stuff had adamantium or something. i don't remember, i just remember him and some others claiming that wolvie's head can't be sliced off at the joints, or any of his limbs.
I know, I know. He's a loser when we compare him to his counterpart, though. The Real Wolverine literally laughs off bullets, can't be ripped in half, survived decapitation, two nukes, regenerated from a single drop of blood (to be fair, his HF was amplified then), got out from a vat of molten metal and just walked away...
