That Nazi allegory doesn't hold; the aliens aren;t treated remotely like Jews.
The military aspects of the Empire are VERY Nazi, of course, but the cultural set up seems rather Colonial, based on the British Empire. Hence all the English officers!

Actually, in both ANH and ESB, no real aliens seemed to be on the sides of the empire or alliance. You didn't see any aliens running from AT-AT's on Hoth, or any on the Star Destroyers in green suits, then in ROTJ, it seemed that alot more got involved with the Alliance, but not the empire.

I always thought there was a difference between the rebellion and the alliance.
That the rebellion was made purely from humans and that the alliance they got in RotJ was an alliance with all the different rebels, aliens included
