The CIS would have won had Sidious not shut down the Droid Manufacturing Facilities. They had strength in numbers.

Please Dooku and Grievous were killed. The CIS basically only had the CIS council now to lead them and none of them know how to command an army. Episode I showed that with Gunray.

And the Republic had better ships which are far weaker then those the Empire had. An Imperial Star Destroyer >>>> anything the CIS has

The CIS was stinking rich, im sure they could have employed a new military commander. Besides, that Geonosion Commander (Poggle?) looked like he has seen a few battles in his time stick out tongue

The Republic had better ships, the CIS had more ships. Again, the CIS had strength in numbers.
