As much as I loved Batman Returns,I loved Batman Forever more.

Forever is easily better than the first two films because it was more like a Batman movie should be than the other two were.Batman displayed his martial arts skills and wasnt a wuss in his fights like Burton made him out to be and he did not kill people in cowardly ways either.Plus Kilmer was by far a better Bruce wayne/Batman than Keaton.He at least looked the role and it was a movie that was FINALLY about Batman instead of a movie being all about the villains with Batman having just a supporting role.

More like a Batman movie? Ha! You're joking right? I have five things to say about how terrible Forever was...neon lights...Robin was like 20....bat-nipples...butt shots...and Kilmer was just some punk in a Batman costume. He never displayed intimidation at all! How can villians be afraid of a guy who doesn't even try to be even a little scary?
Oh yeah and I voted Returns.

I didn't think Kilmer was too bad, but everything else, such as the ridiculously colourful sets, the over-the-top villains, crap dialogue, robin being a whiny little punk... I could go on.
Returns beats Forever on each of those counts.

Forever because I'd have rather had the Penguin like he is in TAS instead of being a mutated freak who lives in the sewers.I would have rather wanted to see the Penguin with his hat,eyeglass,long nose and have Penguin hands but everything else about him should have been normal.
