"Michael Myers of Earth, you are capable of inspiring great fear. Welcome to the Sinestro Corps."
The ring slid onto the finger of the Haddonfield butcher, who was transported to his new master Sinestro...

The Black Lantern ring floated above the junkyard. Its host-to-be was here, buried in this place which was normally a graveyard for vehicles only.
"Fred Krueger of Earth, RISE."
Under the black ring's beam, the razor-clawed skeleton rose from its grave, to be clothed in flesh and garbed in a Black Lantern uniform. The ring even gave him a new hat.
"Lock 'n' load," the Springwood Slasher commented.

Jason was used to being doused in blood, but being surrounded by those who used it as a projectile weapon was a new experience. Quite frankly, it annoyed him. So, quite naturally, like promiscuous teenagers, potheads, and other people who annoyed him, they had to die. Forming machete-constructs out of rage-powered blood was another new experience, though one he got used to quickly.
As Red Lanterns fell left and right to Jason's conjured blades, Atrocitus fumed. They had skipped the oath when it was obvious the new recruit was not only brain-damaged, but his vocal cords had rotted away. But this was too much to tolerate.

Sinestro was having similar problems with Michael Myers. Energy-construct knives pierced the flesh of all Sinestro Corps members, and he still wouldn't speak the damned oath!

Freddy Krueger, for his part, had no problem speaking the Black Lantern oath. It was just that he'd decided his was catchier.
"Listen up, world, yer outa luck!
From now on, life is gonna suck!
You can't run, hide, or even duck,
'Cause Freddy's back, and now you're BLEEP!"
Then he got mad. "HEY! I'll teach ya to bleep me, you black piece-a-BLEEP!" He started banging the ring against a rock.
