Could anyone that has seen Final Destination 2 please explain what happened at the family cookout at the end? I knew there would be some sort of twist, but I didn't understand what happened? Any explanations would be greatly appreciated.

Sure. "Death" came back for Brian Gibbons (the kid at the BBQ), because he was knocked to the ground by Rory the stoner. Brian cheated death, Rory was next to die and got his by way of the wire fence.
