Best Sequel
What do you think the best horror sequel is (in comparison with their respected originals, not with each other)?
By the way, I just listed sequels in the poll off the top of my head.

I'm going to have to say other. My choice would have to be a toss up between Aliens and The Omen 2.......with A Nightmare on Elm St. 2 coming in closely, followed by Hellraiser 2.

Well, quite so. Directed by Wes Craven, might ring a bell.

I don't see the point on making this a poll, there's too many good horror movie sequels to put into a poll.
I'd have to say A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors then Evil Dead II .

Wishmaster was "presented" by Wes Craven. Robert Kurtzman directed it.

This poll is directed to the "Part 2" of the various franchises.

The only sequel I can think of (non-horror, btw) that surpassed the original is Terminator 2.

Eh, the first was better. That whole "Raindrops keep falling on my head" happy-sappy Peter and MJ scenes did not work for me. And Aunt May's big corny speech about how everybody needs a hero. You'd swear she knew he was Spider-Man.
But you did remind me, X-Men 2 was better than the first.

I agree........Spiderman is better than two.........X2 better than Xmen.
The Empire Strikes Back is better than Star Wars.

I still need to see the whole thing. I saw the last half hour or so and liked that better than the first movie.
