Germany's Constantin Film and its genre production company, Paul W.S. Anderson and Jeremy Bolt's Impact Pictures, are preparing for a fourth installment of their successful "Resident Evil" franchise before the third film in the series has even begun shooting.

Constantin head of production Martin Moskowicz said that the third film, Resident Evil: Afterlife, will shift locations to shoot in Australia, with principle photography planned for November or December.

Resident Evil 4 will be set in Tokyo, and Impact/Constantin is looking to shoot the film in Japan. "Afterlife" will be set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun with mutant zombies. The film will play in the Nevada desert with the Aussie outback standing in for the American wasteland. In the final reel, the action will shift to Japan, setting up the fourth edition.

Milla Jovovich is set to reprise her signature role as Alice though no formal deal has been signed yet. Paul W.S. Anderson is finishing the script for the third edition. He directed the first Resident Evil and wrote the sequel Resident Evil: Apocalypse.

Resident Evil 4 should have been based on the events of the actual game RE4, with Leon Kennedy being played by this one dude(dunno his actual name, but he plays Josh from Air Bud). The story about the los plagas parasites and the Los Illuminados would have been splendid, and the bosses would have played an excellent part on the audience.

I think that 4 of the Milla Jovovich ones are a little too much, they should start something new for the series. And crazy ritualistic evil possessed people are just perfect for a new twist in the movie series.

they should of made it more like the game not with the add in characters

would have been alot better for the first

and plus nemesis isnt even in raccon city its suppose to be in europe and crap its ruined
