Graveyard Shift

I watched the beginning of it on TV while at my brother's but I never saw teh ending. I'm confused about it. There are rats...evil smart rats but what's the big monster they all seem to be around? Splinter? (bad joke( I mean a bigger smarter rat?

And how does it end? I only saw up till where the crazy rat-killer Vietnam guy gets his head crushed.

I think it was a giant bat and it had a secret place where it kept it's victims. I think it was underground. I forgot how it ended.

I never gave the movie a chance because it looked stupid, but after reading the wonderful story by Stephen King, I want to rewatch the movie. I'm not sure how it ends in the movie, but if it's anything like the book, the employeer is sent down below the grounds with the main charachter. There, they seem some humongous rats. They're scared off by it and only one of them makes it back up. It's not the employeer.

Dude, you sure you read the right book?? In the book its 3 guys who go down the below the grounds, A Fat polish guy, the employee and the shift foreman, The fat pole runs off scared, the empoyee lets the rats kill the employer then trys to make a run for it but also gets killed on the way out, hence none of them make it out of there.

I know that. I just left the part out about the other guy. It's not really the main action in the ending anyways. I read the story from Night Shift.
