I just wanted everyone to know the latest about the "8 Films to Die For" film festival, set for this November 17th-19th
Eight films that have selected to play in 35 cities over the exact same weekend. All eight films have been refused distribution for being too graphic.
We at "8 Films" would like to formally invite all the horror fanatics out there to buy a weekend pass on Oct 31st. The pass will give you all access over all three days. You pay once for 8 films, and a special unannounced 9th film on the final night.
You can buy your tickets on line at horrorfestonline.com
on Halloween.
Let's bring horror back to where it belongs, away from the push-up bras and the Japanses rip-offs and back to 100%, pure HORROR!
This festival is only for the horror fans- no celebrities, no remakes, only some genuine terror! Be there for the first ever AfterDark Film Festival!
I heard Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horror will be a bonus ninth screening for the fans that attended all 8 movies. If you ask me, its the ONE film I really want to see.
I looked it up and it is supposed to be in limited release this weekend, but I can't find it.
You have to buy tickets individually now- I emailed the address on the website (which is now different) and got no response. I suggest buying the tickets from the vendors directly. DO NOT give your credit card info to any email on-line.
There is a list of theaters on the site
www horrorfestonline.com/theaters.html
I heard people have successfully bought tickets from the theaters. I have heard no one say they have successfully purchased tickets through the site- so be warned!

i was just woundering if anybody knows if the movies will ever be able to be order online since it probably want be at blockbuster anytime soon i was just woundering if anybody has an idea if they will ever be able to be baught.
...So far, I have watched Unrest and Penny Dreadful
I didn't really care for Unrest. Nice story, but they didn't do enough with it. I don't know, it just seemed like it wasn't enough. And I felt like there wasn't a big enough challenge for the main character. Bad idea to start with this one. I had a hard time putting in the next DVD, BUT...
... Thankfully, the next one I watched was Penny Dreadful. Talk about a complete One- Eighty. This one is intense, has a good story that is fully explored and the main character is challenged to the fullest. I'm surprised a B-Movie could be that good. It is a B- movie, though. I may be over-hyping it a bit. The movie was such a nice surprise after being underwhelmed by the first movie.
I like the look of the gravedancers and dark ride...and that girl from the Amityville horror who's in wicked little things...is she always getting little ghost girls dolls and teddys??
