The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974 Version)- This hardly has any gore in it apart from at the very end but it relies on scares from its very realistic/documentary feel.

Halloween (1978 Version)- This again like TCM has hardly any gore in it at all it relies on scares from its music and tension.

" The Town that dreaded sundown" good movie, hardly a drop of blood. Good horror movie... the fact that it's a true story does not hurt either.

Yeah way more gorier, that's all it has to offer is lots of blood and T&A. Rob Zombie biffed it, right on his mug.

The display of certain curvy body parts, you'll figure it out.

To the 'good while low on gore' list I' d like to add;

Alien
The Sixth Sense
Misery

Ummm as far as I know "Braindead" and "Dead Alive” are one and the same. IF I am right, then I hope you're joking... because Dead Alive had so much blood and gore it actually became a bore.

Oh yeah... Carnival of Souls is coolies.
