i haven't seen this film, but my cousin's friend was saying great things about it. he says the book is even better, so does anyone know anything about this movie?

This was a very sad and very good movie. It starred Melvyn Douglas and Fred Astaire. It also starred Doug Fairbanks, jr and John Houseman.
[SPOILER - highlight to read]: Was about 4 elderly gentlemen who share a deep dark secret some 50 years in the past.
I highly recommend this.
