Bodies are turning up in the dark city streets - some
horribly mutilated, others with an equation wAz carved
into their flesh.
As Detective Argo (Stellan Skarsgard) and his new
partner (Melissa George) unearth the meaning of the
equation, they realise that each victim is being
offered a gruesome choice - kill your loved ones or be
killed.

Yeah, it looks like a typical serial killer movie that focuses around the cat and mouse games between the killer and the maverick detective. This movie, however, doesnt even appear to have the production qualities to be considered as anything other than a straight to DvD release.

Apparently it is part of a mathematical equation that the plot for the film will center around.
Doesn't change the fact that the film looks terrible though lol.

Isn't [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Selma Blair the killer in this, and you find out like near the beginning of the movie... It's got two people in I like, so it will be a watch for me, on dvd.

Well I finally saw this film and actually found it to be quite decent with a good twist towards the end.
Apparently a lot of people didn't like it because they thought they were getting a 'gore filled' film like Saw and Hostel. There's not a lot of gore in it, so don't go seeing it for that.
