You think so? I still like them. And I think the soundtrack is going to do a lot for the movie. I actually heard it's supposed to be good. But a good soundtrack is always important in a movie. So far, my look on the movie is good.
They wanted to put out a collection of songs relating to politics, so they did. I don't like them any less, but I have no love for that album. That's all I make of it personally, I still love the APC that gave us the 2 albums that I adore. As far as them appearing on sound-tracks go, meh I don't care so much, It doesn't affect me.
Emotive came accross as more of an endulgance for the band then anything else.
As for Passive being in Constantine, it was played during one of those obligitory, throw away club scenes that really, in no way, inhanced the movies. I hardly even noticed it.

some excorcist type thing...
I've said this before though,
If anyone else came out with emotive, we wouldn't be trashing it so bad, but we all just have this HUGE standard of greatness that we expect from everything that Maynard touches, and when he falls slightly short of that, we trash him.
would you rather listen to Emoitive, or a Simple Plan album?
Like I said to Darth Revan the other day...by APC standards, Emotive is mediocre to okay, but compared to most other music put out, it kicks the shit out of most everything else.

Yea but I maintain that Fiddle and Drum is the best showing of MJK's vocal talent. He sings in 4 part harmonies, with himself! He can sing basicly any part, Alto, sopreno, bass, tenor.... How many people can boast of that??
I love the song Passive myself... Emotive isn't THAT bad, I listen to it on occasion. There are several great tracks, some average ones, and some really shitty ones. I honestly don't get what everybody has against it.
