Mariln Manson is building himself an army of 13-18 year old brainwashed kids, he makes them think he's some kind of god or something.
That said, I don't care for him as a person but he puts on one hell of a show and has decent music, not my favorite music but he's pretty good.
Thats a stage name, Manson being the last name of Charlse Manson and Marylin is just a name he likeed his name is Brian Huge Waner so dont give me shit about his name.
Yer I like Manson i'm listening to it now, Last tour on earth live is his best, godeatgod is also a good song.
ive never been into his music but he is obviously a very clued up and intelligent guy that the press love to hate for no apparent reason other than his appearance...

He calls himself marilyn manson because when the band started, all the members made themselves names that were a combinatiof of a serial killer and a diva.
In some interview he talks about how he has a "Marilyn" side and a "Manson" side... I thought it was kinda funny....
I can't call him my role model because I don't aspire to be a pale-skinned shock rocker who cuts his chest open on stage. What I will say is that I can identify with him to an extent, for some reason unknown to me. People are so hypocritical these days, you can't walk three feet without somebody telling you to "be who you are" or "be an individual" yet these same people are the ones attacking MM because of his appearence. People refuse to listen to his music because they "know enough about him already". That's probably the stupidest thing you could say about someone like him.
