Any fans of his here? I just got his new album. I was skeptical due to some recordings I heard on YouTube, but once I got the actual CD and put it in a CD player that has decent speakers I found out that this CD rocks just like his old albums. I think it is better than Educated Horses (which I actually liked), though still not quite as great as Hellbilly Deluxe, but that would be a pretty tall order. I find every song on this album fun to listen to. The Man Who Laughs is my favorite so far, except for the 4 minutes of drumming in the middle of the song. Its strange, because that song starts with my 4 or so favorite minutes of the album, and also has about 4 minutes of my least favorite part.

I'd say the new album is a hybrid of Educated Horses and White Zombie stuff. I don't like the title of HBD2, because it just comes across as desperate since it really is not similar to HBD, but is still fun to listen to.

I believe the announcement was a March release. But I suspect there will be another track or two released in the meantime. I hope, anyway.
Yeah, I liked Electric Warlock more than Venomous Rat, so I'm hoping he continues the upward swing. Electric Warlock was just so damn short, really my main complaint. The songs are so damn short.
