Who created the genre Black Metal: Venom or Bathory?
in one corner we have Venom who have been creating anti-religious and Satanic music since the early 80's and released the album "black metal". in the other corner we have Bathory who have been major pioneers of the genre by using the shrieks, poor production. many people can't decide who formed black metal. what are your opinions on the subject?

Kind of like how DOA coined the term hardcore despite the genre having existed 3 years prior.
