Shadows of the Empire
Ok so far this book is killer but I have just one Q.
Does anyone else think that the name Dash Rendar sounds like a porn stars name? 
I'd be curious to know other people's opinion of this book as well.

the book was okay...dash was never a fav character of mine, the game gave me a headache....and other than that, I'm all talked out

Ok I finished it. I LIKED this book ALOT!! Xizor was cool I thought and I liked all the Vader stuff.......made him more alive for me.
Ok going to try and tackle Heir to the Empire one more time......

i think they should make Shadow's of the Empire into a movie...it explains a lot of what happens between Empire Strikes Back and The Return of the Jedi. Like how Luke built his new lightsaber and how he became so powerful.

well....i suppose not. Especially since ROTJ was made before Shadows of the Empire. but like i said before, it explains a lot of why things happen in ROTJ.

Like...how Luke built a new lightsaber, how he gained so much power between Empire Strikes Back and ROTJ, how Luke almost got captured by Xizor, how Leia came to her decision on Han Solo....stuff like that.

actually, Luke getting a lightsabre is explained in the ROTJ novel and that holds more "power" than a book...and it would contradict and stuff
getting Xizor in would be ace since it would show a much bigger and more complex universe but the decision of Leia on Han... that would break down the movie

Yerrsie..you KNOW how much of a purist I am....I wouldnt make Shadows into a movie..but it WAS a good read I think.
