Want to Re-Start Need Help

I read the Rogue Squadron series, but since early 2000 I have had many job changes, and a couple moves and have not picked up a SW book since. I am now settling back into a rhythm and want to get back into the SW books. I have a friend who recommended I start with the I Jedi series, another told me I should read the Jedi Academy series first.

Any thoughts? confused

Question

I will check it out indeed! When in the SW timeline does the Trilogy take place?

Thrawn trilogy...a very good choice wink
BTW...Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, and The Last Command
...also if you haven't read any New Jedi Order, I recommend starting right away smile

As a stand alone book...the crystal star was ok.....I thought it was decent, but not very "starwarsish"...I liked the part where they tried to make the story work from the twins's point of view....overall not worth a 2nd read but ok

yeah, not terrible mind you, but it's not like Thrawn, that you can re-read...

I hope the Correlian Trilogy will be great!

I don't know ... I have all three though, but when they start with things as [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Han's evil twin brother DJEE! How stupid is that!?
