Hutt empire during Clone Wars

Hutt empire during Clone Wars

Has anyone read anything about what the Hutts are doing during the Clone Wars? I assume they are playing both sides but with so many battles being near their space you'd think they'd be pulled into the conflict or atleast try to expand their control over the outerrim. Also, since Tattoine is considered a Hutt world in Ep1 and we see an imperial presence during ep IV, I'm assuming the hutts lost some control during the Empire's rise.
