very good book, just read it for my first time only about two months ago. I like Mace a lot but he isn't even one of my fav. characters and I still loved the book.

I've yet to read Shatterpoint. The Thrawn trilogy as a whole is #1. And I found Dark Lord and the ROTS Novelization pretty good as well.

Dark Rendezvous , bitches. The Thrawn Trilogy is amazing and is the patriarch of the Expanded Universe, but suffers from intense minimalism.

I wouldn't say the Thrawn Trilogy was minimalist in pretty much any sense Gideon, but you're right. Good books. For Star Wars.
