Was/Is Snoke a smoker?

Looking at the leaked images we see that Snoke has what seems to be a stoma right where you'd expect it to be after a laryngectomy.

Knowing that this procedure is done on smokers and heavy drinkers, could it be that Snoke participated in these activities in his younger days?

Finally, knowing that he had a laryngectomy, could it be that Snoke is using an advanced force technique to project his voice that would otherwise not exist? Or is he using telepathy but his facial movements are still present for the sake of the "normie" audience?

Look at his throat, of course he's a smoke. He probably has 5 cigs in his mouth at any given time, and then fills that hole in his throat with the rest of the pack. Elan Slezebaggano couldn't sell all his death sticks to Obi-Wan, guess who bought them. Yep, Snoke did.
