Does Nihilus really TK the Ravager?

Specifically, does it haul it out of Malachor's mass shadow generator? IIRC there is some controversy over the alleged feat, but I'm not really familiar with the details.

Yes but he had some special connection to the ship which made it easier(?), I believe. Not sure how that diminishes the feat, but I remember the debate being centred around that issue.

Abel G. Peña confirmed Nihilus used telekinesis.

It's confirmed Nihilus didn't use TK on a spectacular level though per this quote which says it was mostly his connection to the ship which held it together. This feat isn't above average lol.

"Nihilus: Some poetic license was taken with the Ravager – I mostly wanted Nihilus to have a ghost ship in keeping with his personality. It wouldn’t immediately fall apart without Nihilus, but his presence there and his ties to it make minor changes and upkeeps to its function and hull that keep it intact – if barely. When killed, the ship would slowly begin to fall apart into wreckage, although it’s not held together by any sort of super Telekinesis."

It’s basically the Flying Dutchman’s ship.

quote:
Q: In the Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide, under the Sith Battleship description it states that Exar Kun recovered his ship the ‘Corsair’ in the same way Darth Nihilus recovered the ‘Ravager’ on Malachor V. Does this mean that Exar Kun summoned the ship via the Force from the depths of the Massassi Temple of Sacrifice?

Peña: That said, looking over the text, it appears to me that a direct analogy with the Ravager and that your interpretation is essentially correct. (Another example, though in reverse, is Emperor Palpatine using the Force to bury the Lusankya, in plain sight, beneath the surface of the planet Coruscant.)

That doesn't prove anything though. The quote about The Ravager said while he did use TK it wasn't on a spectacular level:

"although it's not held together by any sort of super Telekinesis."

I wasn't saying that Nihilus held the ship together with TK, just that he used TK to raise it from the Mass Shadow generator.

If Nihilus can hold ships together with dull telekinesis, imagine what he could do with 'spectacular' telekinesis

Chris Avellone has a contradictory statement. Thank God he stated his answers are not canon.
