Best SW Novelists
Curious what people here have to say about this.
After researching this a little it seems the best include: James Luceno, Greg Bear, Timothy Zahn, Matthew Stover, Steve Perry, Sean Stewart, and Michael Stackpole.
Would people generally agree that all of those are deserving? Anybody major that I missed?

James, Matthew, and Timothy are all deserving. Sean, Steve, and presumably Greg wrote good novels, but I'm not sure authors with only one entry in the franchise should be considered candidates for "the best SW novelist." Not sure Michael's work is deserving; certainly not the most deserving.

Stover, Zahn, and Luceno are pretty much my 'go-to' SW writers. That is to say: I know I can pick up pretty much anything they write and enjoy it -- they almost always deliver quality material.
Most of the others are hit or miss for me.
