New Bad Batch trailer was released and we get to see Assajj Ventress at the end!!
For those of you who are wondering whether DD's finale has been retconned, Star Wars Explained released a community note stating her appearance will "fit with Dark Disciple storyline".
So maybe she is a clone? Has she been resurrected through Nighstister magic? Did Vos fake her death so she could just disappear and start a new life away from the Jedi and the Sith?
But how can this possibly align with DD, when Asajj very much died during DD? Are they going to write some kind of ham-fisted backstory where she didn't *actually* die, and faked her death or some shit..? Or worse yet, have her be a clone?
Filoni literally cannot help himself from needlessly recycling his pet characters from TCW. This would have actually been a great time to bring someone like Quinlan Vos back into the fold(given his name-drop in the Kenobi show)... But here we are.

Maybe she appears in just some flasbacks set during the clone wars. But yeah agreed on Vos, wish he'll appear anyway. If Ventress is alive post Order 66 there's no way the two of them are just ignoring each other
Assajj’s entry in the star wars canon encyclopaedia has been changed from “gave her life” to save Vos to “sacrificed herself”. So yeah I think the implication is that she didn’t die, maybe Vos and her agreed to fake it so that everyone thought she was dead and could not be bothered.. but then we see her walking around with a yellow lightsaber so that’d be kinda useless. I like her character but she should have just stayed dead and have Vos appear in the trailer
