alright, i had a debate in english class a few years ago about which is more preferred, cats or dogs? what do you think? i prefer cats of course!

dogs are usually more social than cats, but when you get a social cat there more friendly than any dog, cats are also cleaner and like kes said there more indepent so i choose cats

dogs are preffered in America. However I loooooove cats, but I like dogs to. Dogs are too high maintainance sometimes. Gotta love em, and pet em, and snuggle them, and play with them a lot. But cats are so sleek and subtle.
I'm a cat lover...have had 5 all together in the past. Though I like dogs as well, cats are my number one choice

cats definately. dogs are fun but they are too needy. cats are perfect cause they are so independent. you can leave a cat alone in a house all day and not worry about it. they also don't take up the whole bed when you're trying to sleep!
My cat Peanut wags her tail whenever she gets excited (actually it's more of a really fast twitching). She also will play fetch, a game she usually initiates by bringing me a coiled up twist-tie (she likes to starighten them out). She also greets me by kneeding the carpet with her feet which is her way of saying she's glad I'm home. And she likes to play peek-a-boo around the shower curtain. Cats have a lot of personality, you just have pay attention to see it.
i hate cats. dogs will love you unconditionally. cats are too damn snooty.

i think dogs are the best because they are very submissive and are friendly to loads of people and they can act as guild dogs or gaurd dogs but cats can be really mean and scratch your eyes out and they find it very hard to trust people
