even though i'm not with anybody, I don't like the title "single".

It sounds like one ought to be with someone and single is not the desired option.

Actually it very much fits the situation it has to describe. I mean single means one, couple means two or more...so if you are only one single kind of hits the target right on.

And I don't think it has some bad vibes swinging with it.
