If a canoe tips over on the south side of a tree....
...then precisely how many pancakes does it take to reach the moon?

A man after my own heart...
I like big BUTTS and I cannot lie, you other brothers can't deny...when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist and a round thing in your face you get SPRUNG!
Although, that still doesn't answer the question, Ken. How many pancakes?

Are we counting from the canoe's tip pointing southern or the tree ?
Are the pancakes to be laden on top of one another to reach the moon or should we eat them, then fart in containment cylinders nd use the gas as propulsion ?
Are we talking of the earth moon or the Jupiter moons ? Which jupiter moon ?

This is a trick question. You did not specify
A/ Is the canoe in a lake or river?
B/ Which pancake batter are we using and what specific size are they?
or
C/ At which point in the moon's orbit of the earth are we talking and from which location (i.e. sealevel. higher, lower?) are we working from?
This is a trick quetion and I will not be duped!

1.Yes.
2. Yes, they are piled on one another.
3. The moon of IO.

A. It's a Lake...Rice Lake near Peterborough.
B. Aunt Gemima Light pancake batter
C. 3/4 full moon. And we are stacking them from Front Street in Toronto, across from the HHOF.
It IS a trick question, yes, but not in the way you may think.

Still not good enough, Rice lake is so weed choked that if your canoe tips over you may just be supported by weeds so that effects the calculations.
Also what time of day are we stacking them on front street? Traffic is an issue.

You are very correct about Rice Lake, and also, the chance of a Muskie getting you while you were tipped is a relevant concern. However, that is where I chose for this little test, so humour me.
4:19 AM, which should lighten some of the traffice but will enhance the chances of a derelict eating your pancakes.

1.46948 E to the power of (14) pancakes to the moon of IO when the moon is closest to earth.
Based on each pancake being 4mm thick

Too many variables, but For now I will say that it ould take one pancake, stood on it's edge, made with 2,395,961 boxes of batter mix.
