I have learned how to play on a book, and first quality music is actually really cheap. What size of guitar are you planning, or have already gotten? On FQM they give you certain string weights, which depends on you guitar size.

So I'm thinking of learning the Guitar...
you know the guy dressed in black that plays the Guitar who looks like Zorro!!!!! well hes got a guitar learning kit, comes with the Guitar, amp, 2 dvds, pick, strings instructional booklet and an extension cord

But it actually teaches you a lot, and it was at the library so it didn't cost a thing.
