Please help my avatar!

Hi.

I found this avatar among the avatars you could find here at KMC [The sliding dog] I know the avatar has an origin and is not just another nice avatar. I can not find out where it comes from, no matter how hard I try to remember where I have seen it. If someone has a clue on where it comes from, please could you tell?
