Worried I have a problem....

As some of you know I work for a Home Health Care center in my town. However, as of yesterday, I'm no longer able to work everyday because of certain circumstances. And they have tried very hard to help me so I can keep my job but they havent been able to find anyone who is willing to work with us. Matt/Impediment works for the state and has great full coverage insurance provided for himself, our daughter and I. Obviously, his job is way more important than mine, but I still want to work even if its just a few days a week just to have some money of my own. The circumstance is that he works 6 days from 2pm-10pm and he gets 3 days off which rotate. Now, my question is, should I just go ahead and look for another job opportunity which includes Walmart and ProMark Research, or should I just stay at home with my daughter? Give me your opinions.

well its all up to what you would rather have, i mean if there are no money problems at all, then by all means stay home with the kid, its good to have a parent around when you need them.

I've had this job for maybe 6 weeks. Before that I have spent every single second of the day with my daughter. smile There are no financial problems at home whatsoever but like I said I'd like to have some money for myself.

true but couldnt you say.. work at home? i mean there are plenty of jobs people do from their home's, yeah its not great money, but you pick your hours and u wouldnt have to let said child out of your sight. its win win, so long as its not a scam.

find you a better flexible job... walmart wouldnt be so bad... i think they would be more willing to work with your schedule and needs ... and plus you would get discounts on stuff in the store happy .. its good to have a little money of your own and plus it gets you out and about smile

Im sure you will decide whatever is best for you smile

Makes sense to me.

That's a tough place to be, if having no money would affect your mood in general then it might be in both you and your daughters best interest to listen and do something like MG described.

Very true. yes I could do without to better my daughter. Also, as I said, Matt's job is alot more important and he cannot afford to miss work or lose sleep. I was only working two hour days so it wasnt what you would call a job. I honestly don't think not having money would affect my mood at all. I've gone my entire life without so I could deal with it. Plus Matt and his family are always willing to help me out wich is a plus. I may as well stay at home with my daughter than have Matt be tired at a job he works his ass off for us.

Well, seeing as how you enjoy working, get another job, or wait a few weeks, and spend some time with your daughter, and then get back to work, either way, you might be happy. smile
