Has PETA ever felt sad for fictional creatures?

I know it sounds really odd but has PETA ever felt sad at the abuse and slaughter of entirely fictional extraterrestrial life or savage wild monsters?.

It would be really weird if PETA was feeling sad for the Xenomorphs from the Alien movies because those are just violent parasitic bio weapons that must be killed.
