Eon, MGM and Sony Pictures announced that French actress Eva Green has been cast to play opposite Daniel Craig (James Bond) as the enticing Vesper Lynd. Eva Green starred with Orlando Bloom in 2005's Kingdom of Heaven and was introduced in 2003's The Dreamers.
It was also announced that Jeffrey Wright has joined the cast and will play the part of Felix Leiter. Jeffery Wright played Winston opposite Bill Murray in 2005's Broken Flowers as well as appearing in 2005's Syriana. Not only do we now know who will be portraying the main characters in Casino Royale, the 21st James Bond film, but along with today's press release came a list of the rest of the cast as well.

I still don't understand why they made Felix Leiter a black guy. I have nothing against black people, or people of any race for that matter...but I just don't understand why they felt the need to do that. Craig being a blonde, yeah, he can dye his hair...you're not gonna dye Wright's skin lol. I hate it when things just decide to throw in people of different races because these psychotic groups would go nuts and complain (and that goes for everything, including saying "well I don't have a white guy in this, might as well throw one in before I get yelled at...")
Out of everything that I've heard about this movie so far, the only things that I see that are any good at all, are that Campbell is directing it, and that Mikkelsen, though I've never seen him in a film to my knowledge, looks like he could play a good villain - he might not, but he looks like it to me.
Felix Lieter once claimed that he'd like a jigger (a certain amount of alcahol), "but we're not supposed to call them jiggers any more; they're 'jegroes.'"
So, uh, make of that what you will.
