I remember when the original GTA reached Britain, the British Goverment were calling to ban this 'sick game' (there phrase not mine may i add), Manhunter, GTA, Holligan and Postal are given the same ratings as that of films (i.e. In Britain they are rated by the BBFC rather then the ELSPA).

When Vice city was released here in the US it was consider "Vulgar and Violent" by some human rights activists. Just recently there was a protest agains't the recent release by the Xbox version.

I cant stand people who try to censor and block art!
And yea, GTA is art!

Just dont buy it if you dont like it or what it stands for!
Dont shove your ideals on other people by preventing them from purchasing it!

Makes me so mad! mad

Exactly those people are hypocrites!! They use censorship to push their means onto others. Is ridiculous to censor a video game. For goodness sake is only a video game!

You gotta think of your OWN kiddies. If you don't want your kid playing violent video games don't buy them. Let other parents do what they want with their kids don't protest.

"Hey, my kids playing this horrible game....Instead of telling him not to I'm going to protest....YEAHH!!!" said the tards.....yeah I said it TARDS!

Parents don't buy their 9 year old kids "Show Girls" or "Original Sin" so I don't understand them buying games like GTA III or ManHunt. You look at the game, see the rating, put it back, just like you do a movie, don't protest saying that games are to violent for kids, you're damn right they are, just don't buy them, put it back and get a more suitable game. Next they're gonna protest against porn saying it's to sexual for kids.

I agree with you Lag, is like what the Hell is the purpose of putting the rating on the cover of the games if they are going to banned them anyways?? If the cover of the game has an "M" then don't buy it is as simple as that!!!!
