Ugh, first politicians, then biased news media, and now....CSI.
Yup, that's right, CSI. Miami to be more specific.
I just got done watching tonights episode and they show a preview for next week's episode (the week of the 20th). And I couldn't believe it.
From what I could tell (aside from what was blatantly obvious) the next episode of CSI: Miami, will be about these guys who played this violent video game (it looked like some Silent Scope rip-off) and go around and start killing people. it even said, and I quote, "A violent video game leads to real-murders"
What!? One of my favorite show's turns on me? How....what....huh?
This angered me deeply. People talk about how the industry is getting chewed apart by these retarded no-names who claim video games =
What do you all think about this?

Gender: Male Location: Chaos.
There can only be CHAOS!
They'll probably end up proving that it wasn't video games in the end, Law and Order did a similar episode where the kid got convicted b/c of GTA and he was using the game as an excuse... but it didn't cut it. Kid got sent to jail and all.
Games are going to be alright, dont worry.
More talk and talk about how bad it will be, the more popular it will become.
CSI and Law and Order generally do shows around current topics. Videogame violence coinciding with real violence is just a popular topic, they're not doing the show to showcase their political beliefs.
Just like theres a proven link that just about everything can give you cancer.... theres someone out there always trying to prove that something we all love can be evil or f'up or lives.... *sigh*
that will be soo much fun... everytime you wana play something you got to put a pin in... My parents did it on sky when I was younger... It got taken off in a week... it really annoyed them ....every time you change the channel...
I haven't got the slightest problem with you bud! my comment was directed at them not you....
I just think its laughable that they think asking a kid his age will thin out the amount of children playing adult games... It all comes down to them in the end, Most games shops wouldn't sell games to underaged kids, so they ask there parents to buy them, you don't see them giving them porn for xmas but they will give them GTA, Parents should realise what they give to there kids...
